<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Architectural Technologist/Technician with proven expertise in complex technical delivery, ideally within data centre or mission-critical environments.</p>
<p>This role sits within our Design Engineering function, located in Wokingham, Berkshire.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will take a role in the technical development and delivery of projects, translating design intent into coordinated, buildable solutions. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient project delivery through RIBA Stages 3–5.</p>
<p>This role requires a detail-driven professional with strong Revit capability, excellent coordination skills, and a solid understanding of construction methodologies and building systems.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Technical Delivery & Project Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Development of detailed design and technical packages from Stage 3 through Stage 4 and into construction</li>
<li>Translate architectural concepts into fully coordinated technical information</li>
<li>Manage and contribute to the production of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules</li>
<li>Support the preparation of tender information and contractor packages</li>
<li>Actively contribute during construction stages (RIBA Stage 5), including: </li>
<ul>
<li>Responding to RFIs</li>
<li>Reviewing contractor proposals and shop drawings</li>
<li>Resolving on-site technical challenges</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Apply knowledge of data centre design principles, including: </li>
<ul>
<li>Integration of MEP systems</li>
<li>Coordination of plant spaces and service zones</li>
<li>Understanding of resilience, redundancy, and operational requirements</li>
</ul>
<li>Coordinate complex interfaces between architectural, structural, and MEP systems</li>
<li>Ensure designs accommodate highly serviced environments and technical constraints</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Coordination & Compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordination with multidisciplinary consultants, ensuring design integration</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes</li>
<li>Maintain high levels of quality control and document accuracy</li>
<li>Identify and resolve clashes through proactive coordination (Revit / BIM workflows)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>8+ years’ professional experience in the UK or similar regulatory environment</li>
<li>Proven track record delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3–5</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience working on data centres or other highly serviced / complex buildings</li>
<li>Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and systems</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination tools</li>
</ul>
