We are Better Together.&nbsp;</strong></p></div><p><strong>We&#39;re looking for a</strong> <strong>Senior Full Stack Engineer</strong> to join this team and take on meaningful, varied work — from scaling shared SaaS services to building polished brand experiences across multiple scientific software products. &nbsp;At Dotmatics, we build leading scientific software used by researchers around the world — including the GraphPad, SnapGene, and Geneious product families. Our <strong>Product Operations</strong> team powers all of it: identity, billing, licensing, marketing infrastructure, and the public-facing websites of our brands. As part of Siemens, one of the world&#39;s leading technology companies, we operate at global scale with startup-level ownership.</p> <p><strong>In this role you will get to&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop integrations between Dotmatics and Siemens&#39; broader ecosystem — connecting our e-commerce and internal order flows with enterprise systems such as tax collection, ERP, and other shared infrastructure</li> <li>Scale and improve our shared services platform (billing, licensing, marketing) using <strong>GraphQL</strong> and modern back-end technologies</li> <li>Enhance the front-ends of <strong>GraphPad.com</strong>, <strong>SnapGene.com</strong>, <strong>Geneious.com</strong>, and other brands using a multi-brand design system (<strong>Storybook</strong>) and modern frameworks (<strong>Next.js</strong>, headless CMS)</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Propose and own technical architecture decisions</li> <li>Collaborate closely with product and engineering peers to execute on the product vision</li> <li>Design and develop <strong>GraphQL and REST APIs</strong> alongside responsive, accessible front-ends</li> <li>Build reusable, well-tested components and maintain high code quality standards</li> <li>Write thorough end-to-end and unit tests</li> </ul> <p><strong>We are looking for people who have </strong>8+ years of experience building responsive web applications and back-end services.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The key skills we are looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>Node.js</strong> and front-end build tools (npm, yarn, etc.)</li> <li>Architecting and developing <strong>REST and/or GraphQL APIs</strong></li> <li>Advanced <strong>HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</strong> skills; strong command of <strong>TypeScript</strong></li> <li>Building reusable <strong>React</strong> components, with familiarity in frameworks like <strong>Next.js</strong></li> <li>Deep understanding of Relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL)</li> <li>Working knowledge of modern deployment practices: <strong>Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD</strong></li> <li>Solid testing skills across unit and end-to-end coverage</li> <li>Security-oriented mindset with awareness of application security best practices</li> <li>Hands-on experience with AI-assisted or agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to technical and non technical audiences</li> </ul> <p><strong>You may also have&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of security and data protection frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001)</li> <li>Background working on high-traffic, high-availability applications</li> </ul><div class=&quot;content-pay-transparency&quot;><div class=&quot;pay-input&quot;><div class=&quot;description&quot;><p><span style=&quot;font-size: 14px;&quot;><strong>Total Rewards&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style=&quot;font-size: 14px;&quot;>Dotmatics utilises a national market-based approach to base pay benchmarking and pay band development.
